The Kováèov hills, also known as the Burda cliffs, are an excellent place to hike if you are looking for one of the best views of Esztergom and the Basilica. The volcanic mountain range, also known as the “secessionist Börzsöny”, has a unique microclimate that delights hikers with a profusion of wild flowers in spring. The route, which can also be followed as a circular route, is varied, with wooded, grassy and rocky terrain. At several points you can admire a magnificent panorama of the Danube and the mountains opposite.
